The existing building on Regents Park Road is set very far back from the road creating a sterile public space. By bringing the building line forward, a relationship to the adjacent buildings is created. Stainless steel discs set into the pavement mark the site and individual retail unit boundaries.

 

Additional trees, seating, cycle storage and street lighting is to be incorporated into the scheme.

 

Where the buildings meet, a generous arrival zone is created.
